CAC Boomerang

Here's the Australian WWII fighter aircraft CAC Boomerang. I built this model out of old black & white plan, so it needed to be painted. Markings and camouflage are my grandson's(he's also modeler) job. Painting is not based on particular aircraft, our main inspiration were Boomerangs from Bougainville in 1945.
Scale 1/33

Really excellent work.

What kind of paint did you use?

Excellent work on an unusual subject. I'm looking forward to the day Kermit Weeks puts his into the air although I'll probably only see it on video

Your grandson just directed me to this. From an Aussie: bloody ripper mate!

Word on the street is that there is a Spitfire also hiding somewhere in your family. It really needs to be shown here. Us whippersnappers need inspiration!!

That Spitfire is in 1/6 scale...
And it's completely from scratch.
Maybe I'll show it here...

So do we need a poll for that too?
