Wild West Steam Locomotive
Time to start making some of the stuff I've collected over the years; can't take them with me when I go!
This is a forty-five year old kit by J F Schrieber. Because of it's age the glossy paper had become somewhat brittle and prone to snapping, so there are plenty of splices on the rear of the parts. It went together very well despite the oddity of some of the design. No scale is quoted. The model is about 37 cm. long and the distance between the wheels is nigh on 6 cm. Does this make it bigger than O gauge? In all, a fun build which I very much enjoyed. By the way, Schreiber are currently offering "Santa Fe" which apperars to be an identical loco and it now comes with a tender. A Happy New Year to you all.

I have an O scale 4-4-0 and it is 22cm without the tender. My Garden scale 4-4-0 is 40cm. garden scale includes a lot of different scale from 1:19.5 to 1:32.........

Aah steam! I can hear the sound of the engine in idle, venting every second or so, gentle bell ringing...lol
Yes very colorful and a nice clean build too.
