Home Sweet Home
A couple of examples of domestic architecture from Albacete, southeast Spain and available from the Diputatcion de Albacete website.
The first is a single residence, or family house. Could it be a farmhouse? The scale is quite small; the base measuring only 10 x 7 cm. The second is an apartment house. Slightly larger scale but not by much, it measures 13.5 x 11 cm. I woulldn't mind living in either of them!

Those are quite charming little models. I agree, I can imagine living in either one (my husband did live in a very similar apartment building before we were married, in San Jose, California, USA). Good memories.

I think the first is a villa, but I could be wrong.
While it has clearly entrances for carts, carriages, cars, there seems to very limited "parking" space in the form of courtyards. Most of the enclosed farmhouses in the older European style have large courtyards. Of course, the courtyard can have just been condensed by the builder for scale and size purposes. Very nice model, as is the second. Great build also.

That's neat in looks and execution. Will you make the series?

Thank you for your generous responses.
Mike: Every now and then I contemplate building the whole series because I really like the work of the two designers, but then I recover and forget such madness for a while. And yes, it certainly is different from the ID days, thank Goodness!
