Narrow gauge loco Atlas - 1:25 my project
Welcome in my latest gallery.
This time is the model of fireless narrow gauge loco Atlas. I made it, because this is very unusual construction, little known and very interesting. It is not to big, like for 1:25 scale, only 14 centimeters long. When I created a loco, i decided to add two wagons: first one is used for tools, second one if for transport of explosives :-) The prototype of model was yellow, but my friend found some pictures of original loco, so I had to change the color. In the set with loco and wagons is also section of railway tracks. Adam |

Adam - a very nice model indeed. And good neat work. It really looks great.
Coincidentally I posted a photo of a real Fireless Steam loco in this Forum about a week ago. Heres the link - Railway Pics - Locos, Rolling Stock, Buildings, Etc! - it's the third post down.

Fireless locomotives are interesting, be they stored steam or air powered. Not much in plushness is provided for the driver!
