Thank you, folks. I'm finding simpler models more appealing by the day. As for the Renault being an electric car, I couldn't say. But it certainly looks as if it could be.

One of the design features of the early Renaults was the radiator behind the engine, not in front. For this model, it looks like the headlamps are built into the upper corners of the radiator. So probably not electric.

Very nice build Philip. Many of these 'simple' models have a charm all of their own, bit like the early tinplate toys.
