Benjamin Pollock is a well-known name among toy theatre nuts. He started in the 1850's as a printer and pretty soon was producing toy theatres. He's mentioned in a Robert Louis Stevenson essay about toy theatres, "A Penny Plain And Twopence Coloured". There was quite a range, some of which I believe continue to be produced.
Pollock's is still trading, albeit in two different guises. There was an argument many years ago and it split into two. This is the "original" one: Welcome to Pollock's Toy Museum And this the "new" one: https://www.pollocks-coventgarden.co.uk/
