DMS London Transport Bus

I must have ridden on these buses hundreds of times, going hither and thither. It's in OO scale, length 12cm., and is another addition to my never-to-be existent model railway (no room for it). It was designed by a chap called Bernard King for Price & Etheridge, 1974.

I decided to give a little depth to the folding doors, and sort of wished that I hadn't as it was pretty difficult. Looks better than a completely flat side though.

I think it should be mandatory that all paper modelers have at least one double-decker bus.

Nice job

Ooooh, ta! for your comments. I imagine the punishment for not having a double-decker bus in your collection would be to incur V_K's wrath.

VK's wrath is pretty flat right now. But it sure seems like almost all of us have at least one double-decker

Pretty nice work on this double-decker.
I have to build one someday but the older version, from the 1940s or 1960s.

Being Cockney born but dragged up in Essex, my paper double-decker is an Eastern National Bristol. (Sorry, the camera's on the blink right now.) I spent many months riding the back of one of these as a Clippie. Long hours, but great fun interacting with commuting the public.

Of course, I do have some traditional London Transport busses as well, but none as modern as Philip's.
