Phoenix Rising From The Flames

A phoenix is a mythical beast in the shape of a bird that, once every 500 years, destroys itself (in our case by fire) and a new phoenix arises from the remains of the old. The legend goes back to ancient Greece, and may be even older than that. Howsomever.

I didn't find it an easy model to build but was helped by the excellent fit of parts all round. It's just short of 18cm to the highest point.

Excellent job of disguising all the fold lines. I thought about building this once and wasn't sure how best to do that

Nicely done

An excellent build yet again Phillip. However it does beggar the question...If you set it on fire would a new model emerge from the ashes ?? Just asking....
