Circus Theatre, Albacete

Here's the Teatro Circo in the Spanish town of Albacete. As well as a proscenium arched stage, there is a circular stalls area from which the seating can be removed to provide an alternative and/or extra performance space.

Designers are Angel Agustin and Jesus Arribas, a couple of folks whose models I go back to every now and again because they are such a pleasure to build. Not always easy though as they are conspicuously short of instructions: the only guide being a unique (to me) numbering system at the attachment points. But there you go.

The base measures 21 x 12 cm.

I second VK's statement. And I want to thank you for the link; some very unique architecture there.

Thanks for stopping by, people, and making such encouraging comments. I see you're making a church from Alatoz, MrConk. How are you getting on with it? I'd love to see some pictures of it built.

The church is finished, but unfortunately I have no pictures of it. I haven't modeled in a while due to failing eyesight.

An odd building, but well made.

I have it bookmarked, so there may be a few more "threads"

Cheers
Mike

Very nice model, Philip!
Quite a small scale, but well detailed.
