I got cunfused by the names: MaksArt is known by me and it appeared I alredy have this plane. Must be age... Or so many kits to choose from? ;-)

How did you achieve that semi-glossy look on this model, is it a coating after the build or printed on special paper?

@Ponytail, it's good that you have found the model. Now make it :P Although the model has several minor drawbacks it still is very very good @Butelczynski. I do not know much about the plane. But yes, seems to be a typical experimental plane. @SmashedGlass, I have bought an offset printed model from YG-model publishing house. Before start cutting parts i've covererd all plains with waterbased lacquer for wood twice. Then, after all works on model i've covered it with three or four layers of Tamiya Clear Gloss TS-13. Probably you see "satin" finish, because i've suffered a common problem with spray lacquers - orange skin effect. Best, Bestia |
