Product 181 by Antonov's Design Bureau, 1/33, YG-model

Product 181 by Antonov's Design Bureau (USSR, now Ukraine).

The plane built in eighties, never flew but was prepared to its first flight. Built to proof advantages of the Custer Channel Wing, but with the pull configuration propeller.

Its interesting that you can buy printed model from YG-model publishing house or download free version from author's (Max Artyushkin) G. Drive.

Best regards,
Bestia

That is a really interesting aircraft. Your build is amazing. It is absolutely perfect. I love the base too.

Great work.

Always interesting to see unusual aerodynamic configurations.

This type of semi ducted propeller did have other similar concepts

Here is one : Custer Channel Wing - Wikipedia

and more info on channel wing concept: Channel wing - Wikipedia

Really nice work on the model. I like it a lot

Very beautiful model. It looks like a very small aircraft-proof of concept test bed?
