Mechanics
Three models demonstrating different kinds of mechanical movement. They came from a book I got for Christmas called "Paper Models That Move" by Walter Ruffler, Dover Publications, 2010.
Very enjoyable to do, and they went together a breeze. I have another finished, and was just started on a fifth one when I recieved a request from She Who Must Be Obeyed for something else entirely, meaning it'll be a little while before I get round to finishing it. So here we have a Crank Slider, Oscillating Lever and Friction Transfer:

I've got that book - there are some very clever models. I'm drawn to the sand powered models. But with all the kids play areas closed I can't get any sand ;-)))))
Oh well - back to amazon I guess. Cheers Mike |
