The old and the new buoy tender: Farewell BRUNO ILLING - welcome NORDERGRÜNDE

Hi folks,

after finishing NORDERGRÜNDE, build see here, I made some pictures of her, her predecessors model BRUNO ILLING and of both together. It´s kind of changing of the guards on the river Weser.

So here´s the pictures of BRUNO ILLING (HMV)...

Looking at the details that you have built into these models, you have the patience and steady hands of a watch maker. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you Ray, Tom, John, Mike, Philip and Dave for your comments!

Mike: The water is called lake sheet, made by Faller, a german model railroad supplier. The effect is in fact convincing and makes it easy to get a maritime atmosphere.

John: My grandfather was watch maker, maybe some skills passed to me?

Best Regards
Nils
