I had no idea of what a stave church was until reading your post and my golly I realized I had built this wonderful GPM kit about five years ago. Unfortunately I have no pictures of it to share.

Many thanks, folks, for contributing your thoughts and pictures. We seem to have amassed quite a collection. I like to see how people at different times, in different places and for different reasons have tackled the same subject. Simple or complex, these church models all have their own attractions, and I'd be hard pushed to pick a favourite. If I were forced to choose one I think it would be... Ah, that would be telling!
