Hi Philip, very well done. It's a very charming model with a good fit I remember. Built it back in 2006 already. The actual church stands on a slight elevation in the landscape, just outside the small village of Den Hoorn and forms a distinct landmark on the horizon if you approach the island of Texel with the ferry from the south. Just came back from a long weekend on the island and yes, you can't miss this beautiful small structure. Always worth a visit, just like the rest of the island.
Unfortunately, Texel was the scenery of Europe's very last and violent WO2 battle, lasting until two weeks after the formal German surrender in Europe, but that's another (hi)story. Luckily the church got spared from this totally insane outburst of destruction.
