Russian self-propelled gun SU-101 1:25

Hello,

I want to share with you some pictures of my previous project - of Russian self-propelled gun SU-101.

I made this model in 1:25 scale based on drawings and pictures from Modelist Konstructor 2/2001 Russian magazine and from Главная - THE RUSSIAN BATTLEFIELD web page.

Please find here some pictures of this vehicle what I made during designed phase.

Regards,
Michal

When model was ready in 3D started building SU-101 model from paper. I made first line of this project mid of November last 2008, 3D drawing I finished in the middle of January 2009 and first parts I cut end of March. The model was ready in June. I think it went fast.

The final pictures:

More pictures you can find here: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v471/mrafalsk/SU-101.

I hope you like it.
Regards,
Michal

It looks better than the real one. I feel like hiding in a hole somewhere. Is Paper modeling really big in Poland, because it seems like the most fantastic models built come from there.

WOW! That is a beautiful model. Not only did you design it, but you also did a superb job in building it! What 3D Software program did you use?
