Visual Differences in the 5 races

I described 5 races for the Sci-fi game Chris is creating.

These are 5 different vehicles with different concepts and philosophies of the 5 races. It's a fast and dirty sketch. Later on, when things are more clear I'll make some more detailed art. I'm not very fast or proficient, doing 3D models, but I can put ideas in paper very fast, and make rules and fiction for it. I'd like to work with a model designer to make some supplements for this game.

I don't know if Chris wants to use any of these races for the core game, but if he doesn't, we can use it for the expansion. If any model designer wants to sign in to work with me, feel free to mail me or pm me.

If anyone decides to work with me please send me an image of her/his work.

Thanks.

Very nice!

We will be using one of these races in the core game for sure - for the others each race will be an expansion unto itself

humans will be one race in the core with one protagonist alien species. I hope for some expansions to be available rather quickly to provide more diverse gameplay for customers

Actually, it might be a good idea if different people persue their own line of development first, since there are 5 races each people could come up with drastically different designs not even imaginable by others, which in all, gives distinctive looks to the factions.

Agreed. But it might work both ways. Some people might be interested in design models for drawings already made, some might want to make their own drawings. But rules and statistics must be made for those models also.

Yea, for now let's wait for Chris's idea on this matter. I think he has the duty to coordinate the work so that nothing is wasted

I am unsure what you want me to decide about? I know there are designers that want to have ideas of what to design so I dont see why we cant go both ways. If we know what units need to be designed for every race the stats dont matter a hoot to the model designers, just so long as they fit the sizes needed. I might be missing your point though.

Sure. The only thing is that the models for a certain race must have the same looks, or it will be awkward.
