Meeting Engagement (Rules Version 0.1c)

Missiles and torpedoes were fired. PD defended all except 3 torpedoes that hit the Human CC1. But 3 points of damage and 1 critical. Human CC1 lost one point of cargo.

Fire
Things heated up.
Hecate cc1, cc2, dd1 fired 12 torpedoes against human dd2. 6PD dice were rolled with two 6s rolled. Ten torpedoes entered the hull of the dd2. 10 Rolls of 3D6: 4, 4, 5, 7, 7, 11, 11, 12, 13, 13. Resulting in several severe explosions. (After the discussion, Joćo, who was playing with the humans accepted that going straight ahead into a fleet that can shoot 16 torpedoes is not a good idea. Inźs had a mean smile in her face.) :D

Human dd1, dd2 fired their missiles against CC1. One missile entered resulting in 1 damage point and one critical. Hecate CC1 lost half its secondaries.

Human cc1 fired 2 HE missiles against Hecate cc1. Rolling 16 dice, Hecate cruiser defends all torpedoes.

Hecate dd1 fires 4 secondaries against human cc2. Hits with 3. 2 damage (total 4 hull)

Turn 5 and 6

Turn 5.

The Human player won the Initiative.

The Hecate cruiser lost 2 more points and received a cargo destroyed critical.
The human cruiser lost 1 more point of damage and lost half its primaries with a critical.
The hecate destroyer lost 1 more point of hull.

Turn 6.

The hecate won the initiative for the first time.

The human player wasn't able to make the last point to destroy the Hecate dd and only made 2 points of damage against the hecate cruiser, leaving it with one.
The torpedoes from the dd proved to befatal against the Human cruiser.

Will be reading through in detail... BTW KIA refers to a particular personnel, it might be better to use "sunk" or "destroyed" when referring to entire vessels...

So in the end there were left only a badly damaged Hekate cruiser and destroyer on the battlefield. Sounds like a quite balanced game - except for that disastrous Human beginning

And humans won almost always the initiative. But it balanced the lack of experience of Joćo.
