Very good!
I don't know how these cards are given (free or commercial), but I could take part creating a tool to generate Cards so that users can freely modify them and enhance the number of available cards for future.

The cards will be commercial, given with the ships for each race. NOT with the race purchase though. Races and models will be sold separately so the designers and writers can both get paid (unless they are both ready at the same time then I will sell together and split profits 50/50) I havent quite ironed this out in my head yet.

I wrote in rules discussion about changes I'd make in critical damages table.
The cards look nice. I wonder if it's a good choice to put the critical damage table on the ship cards - they are all identical and the list can be inserted into a Quick Summary Card with tables etc. What I'd like to see on ship cards instead is explanation of special rules for the ship and for it's weapons. This is also a good place for short snippet with fluff about the ship - and artistic imagery of the ship in space (or a 3D drawing or photo of the model). |

If its ultimately the same (might be a good idea) then i agree it should come off and be on a quick ref card. If its different it could add some good interest to the game as a crit for a heavy freighter would be much more likely to hit cargo than a ship like a cruiser thats much more likely to take a hit on say primary weapons...
