Awesome, it'll be a nice match for the USS Magnetize BCC-1701:

NO.0000333Details of the work

Oh and if anyone hasn't seen Stone Trek, check it out, very funny (Mikey, you'll love it).

Edit: Hey, look at that, seems that the Magnetize was one of your designs Gary. How come it's not on your page?

Nice! - I had totally forgotten about Stone Trek.

If you want to go a little farther up in history - check out Steam Trek - Voyages of the HMAS Dauntless - My friend came up with this and asked me to put together a website for it. He does all the content - I just did the website.

*but* what is interesting about this is that this is how I started into paper modeling in the first place. I wanted to create a model of his ship - the HMAS DAUNTLESS for him for his birthday present. - Since this thing does not exist anywhere except for my photoshop files, I began researching modeling and found paper models.

I did not know what I was doing, or how to figure out any 3d shapes, so I tried doing it as flat pieces that interlocked like a 3d puzzle. These are printed paper detail skins laminated two sides onto balsa wood. I slotted them in key spots and walla!

I was happy with the results, and once I get better at this I am going to try to develop a good 3d paper model of it.

- Mark

So very Cool! Thanks Gary, it is great to have this to go with the Magnetize. Always fun to see other takes on Trek..
