That would be one of the two very best Thunderbirds reference books I could think of, Gary.
The other, I'd think would be almost unobtainable these days.
Somewhere around May of 1995, I was in a small but expensive bookshop in Lambton Quay, in Wgtn.
They had, at about $120.00 per copy, about a dozen copies of a book that detailed almost every model that had been made for Gerry Anderson tv shows and related movies. Not only were several photos of each model shown, but also the parts of the models listed from the source kits.
For example, the roadwheels for the tracked Thunderbirds vehicles were usually from Joseph Stalin 2 and JS 3 tank kits, variously Frog, Aurora, or Airfix.
The same tank roadwheels, according to the book, were used in the case of the Mole, the Firefly, and the Recovery Vehicle (aka "Rescue 1? ... at any rate, I'm thinking of the red tracked vehicle with the suction arms mounted on retractable boom-arms, and the other red tracked vehicle with the winches on the rear decking).

The title of the book eludes my memory, but was something similar to the words:
"Twenty First Century Models: the vehicles of Gerry Anderson."

I'm greatly enjoying watching your series of Thunderbirds vehicles evolve, Gary, and I hope the info on the book, fragmented tho sais info is, is of help in your research for your ongoing series of Gerry Anderson models.

Kind and Respectful Regards Gary my friend, Uyraell.

Perhaps these links will help:

Gerry Anderson Props

Gerry Anderson Craft and Other Computer Models

Starship Modeler: Gerry Anderson's UFO Models

http://www.cloudster.com/

http://www.space1999.net/catacombs/m...els/wrefm.html

had a few more that were more relevant, but the links have gone dead.

Here, such events are known as "flea markets" though for the life of me, I have no idea where the "flea" comes from... perhaps to denote a "small" market? Cultural side bar, some 'flea markets' are large and essentially permanent affairs with fully enclosed buildings as well as open air, covered booths. Example: Grand Ol Flea Market (Grand Ol Flea Market) Click on the map and then Satellite to see the details of one of our local 'landmarks'.

Cheers!
