Hi Gary,
Excellent Hoverbike and I remember watching XL5 (and Supercar) plus all the others from then. Gerry Anderson's creations were the greatest! Reference the next model...FAB! |

Gary, thanks for making my childhoold dreams of owning these cool Anderson machines a reality. I look forward to building your Thunderbird 4 when it is available.

Refreshed...
my memory reading this thread (again?). All of the Anderson shows failed to make it into my typical American surburban childhood except for UFO, which I'd put down food to watch. Only in my late 40's have I been exposed (eeck!) to the extent of Anderson's work. And frankly, I thought the live-action Thunderbirds movie wasn't half bad... seemed to follow the original rather well - good thing since the producers, etc are fandersons themselves.
So, what does a submarine need with a 'dozer blade anyway? Or did the Thunderbirds just 'sprout' tools like a Swiss Army knife as the episode runs?

TB4!! one of my favourites.Gerry Anderson has said he regretted making Thunderbird 4 a submarine as he found it a real struggle to come up with stories for it luckily for Gorden Fireflash would fall out of the sky on a regular basis and tall buildings would fall of of tracked movers meaning that never had to worry about his job. The dozer blade is actually a light.
