Gary, When you publish this would you mind doing a V-Force non-cam version. I'm of Cold War Germany vintage. Our Kites were all bright white ... "Hey Ruskies, we're here, and we ain't hiding."

Loved the Vulcan videos Gix, but has anyone ever found a video of any of the V-Force performing the "A-Bomb flip" ?

We used to watch them practicing it off shore in Cyprus. Imagine a Vulcan ... full bore at 100 ft ... pull back the stick hard to go vertical ... keep the loop going until it's horizontal again, but upside down ... then full bore back the way it came, still below 200 ft. ... and at some complexly calculated point during the flip they let go the bomb, which continued in the original direction for a few miles.

A fantastic, unbelievable sight, and I can't believe that no one ever filmed it, but it doesn't seem to have made it onto u-tube yet.

You concentrate on getting the Javelin right though Gary. There's already a few Vulcan models around, but the Javelin is very thin on the ground. It's an almost forgotten unsung hero nowadays.

Johnny.

Javelin's looking good Gary, keep up the good work.

As for the "A-Bomb flip", I never seen any videos of the manoeuvre, although I've red about it.. But I did see XH558 do a wing over this year at RAF Waddington airshow. Very, very close to being on her back. First time I've seen the trust do that to her since she started flying again. Not going to hi-jack Gary's thread, so I'll put a couple of shots in another thread.

I would guess as the British A Bomb delivery capability was secret anyone seen in the area with a camera would of had some stern faced gentlemen ask them to "donate" the camera and film to them. There maybe some RAF training film of it which might someday come to light.
Gary the Javelin is looking amazing thank you for keeping the classic Brits alive in paper.

That's such a fantastic looking model of a neat bird! Love this forum, you people are the best! Generous, and creative and splendid. Thanks from a poor paper modeler!
