Well, I haven't quite given up on the mini one yet, but that saddle nearly convinced me to.

Methinks I've sorta stepped into this a little bit too early. Shoulda waited until Gary had put the tabs on it. Or maybe the .pdo would better show which edges join where?

The real problem with working at this scale is that the fold lines (if there are any?) don't show up on the coloured in parts. The foot-board folds have got me completely fooled.

With plenty of other models on the go, I still can't resist repeatedly going back to it though.

Keep on snippin' ... Johnny

Err, you missed my point I think Gary. I got the saddle done, but it was a real pain in the small size. The wheel wasn't too bad though.

Next bit to suss is the foot-boards, to join it all together. In this size it's just plain black with no lines on it at all, but the picture shows radiating lines to the rear, and some folds at the front. Does the rear curve to flow with the body lines? I'm guessing I'll need to form up the rear body skins before this becomes more obvious.

A lot of people hate .pdo files, but I find they unlock the mysteries of many models. A bit of a pain having to have a computer running to read it though, as my computers and modelling table are in different rooms.

A question I've been wanting to ask you for a while now ... How do you capture all the unfold pages in one .jpg? This could be useful to shrink some of the other .pdo models I have. Especially cartoon characters, which tend to be 12" high or more. Can it be done from the Pep Reader, or is it done from within Pep Designer?

I did look at a free trial of Designer a while back now, but decided that was maybe a step too far for this fried old brain. I'm currently upgrading from XP to W7, but I'm not looking forward to learning to use the new system. Currently comin' at yer via an old XP laptop, that I won't upgrade until I've got W7 sussed on the main PC.

Keep on snippin' ... Johnny

Hey Johnny
"A question I've been wanting to ask you for a while now ... How do you capture all the unfold pages in one .jpg?"

when I was using XP I had a program called CaptureWhiz Pro to grab the multi page picture
and now I'm using Win8.1 it comes with it's own program called snipping tool which is also on Win7

heres the B&W PDO

Sounds cool ... I'm booting up the W7 machine now to have a look.

Yep, there is the 'snipping tool' in the start menu. I'll have to have a play with that when I transfer my files onto it.

Cheers ... Johnny.

PS: Just noticed the .pdo in your last post. I nearly missed that. Thank you. There was me thinking the other bit was part of the tank !!!

I've got this so wrong in a couple of places, so I'm starting over. It deserves to have a shine, so I'm gonna give it a go with gloss photo paper. Piggin' 'orrible stuff to work with as it easily delaminates, but I gotta try.

Johnny.

Dear Sir Gary:
nice what is the scale if you print actual size?
Impressed,
