May I echo Miles's question - do you have definite dimensional information about the original so as to fix a scale? From the overall size I would guess that it is around 1:7 or 1:8, but for such an unusual machine I could be well wrong.

All the best,
Alan
Good guess
I make it......

man say 6 feet-ish tall
1930 Henderson Streamliner-1a.jpg

which makes the bike about 9 feet-ish long
model about 1 foot long.....1:9 scale-ish

You beat me to it Mr.Pilsworth!

Wheels of the Henderson are 10inch. Model wheels are 31mm.
= 1:8.2 scale
But that depends on my poor eyesight measuring the wheels of the model!

Again sir, thank you for a great model!

Cheers... Ray

1/9-ish works for me as there are figures available in that scale...found this on the development and design of the ultimate Streamliner... http://www.coachbuilt.com/des/c/courtney/courtney.htm

... and now in glorious techniblack!

Gary

At great length here is the model in genuine paper. Most enjoyable build, though it isn't really my thing - I've never been good at smooth flowing curves, which is why I generally avoid things like aircraft which others do so well.

Many, many thanks.

Alan

Looks great Alan, nice build!
Really need to find time to get a start at this myself. Wanted to have a go at forming it in aluminium, but the mundane things in life, trying to pay bills, family, and trying to keep the house from falling down, keep getting in the way.

Cheers... Ray
