Very nice!
I flew a cargo b-18 @*#$* years ago. Interesting plane to fly. Can wait to see this one finished. The one I flew was overall white, with boring black N numbers. No expense spared there. |

This beautiful and historic C-45 fits in perfectly for the theme of the Paper Modelers at Army Heritage Days event in May 2019: D-Day 1944, which is also the theme of the IPMS NOVA (Northern Virginia) Classic in April 2019, an event in which several Forum members participate.
I have a slight personal connection with the C-45, too. It was one of the aircraft flown by the Maryland Wing of the Civil Air Patrol in the 1950s, and I had a couple of flights in it as a CAP cadet. Don |
