No airplane flies with a big stand attached to its bottom. Makes no sense, with all due respect. Landing gear is essential on ANY model aircraft. And when an airplane flies, it moves. It is not static. It might sound stupid but it isn't. I remember the first Revell plastic models. They included no landing gear. It was a terrible mistake and they soon corrected this. The best solution, and most reasonable is to include full landing gear and allow the builder decide to install it or not. And designing a card model is only a job for experts like Mr. Pilsworth, a real genius. I don't have the knowledge necessary to design a detailed landing gear struts and wheels for a card model.

Aircraft do not fly with strings attached to them, and yet that is how a majority of models were displayed.

Gary - splendid little model and well executed.

Like your concept for the stand as well - the clouds are a nice idea.

Strenge that you provided a Beagle Basset when you did - I had just been talking and reminiscing about this plane when I came on to Papermodellers and there it was. Synchronicity in action!

Can I complain about the lack of stand and stationary prop?
