What a co-incidence, HK stands for Hong Kong!

Ooops

Was going to put this one up also. There's some others also if you need them let me know and I'll try and scan. As you can see the brochure is bigger then my scanner bed, so might have to do them in two pieces.

Yes!! HK are the official aircraft registry letters of Colombia. The US is N. the UK is G and so on. Don't ask me why HK was chosen for Colombia. And the final P means "Private" privately owned.

I may be wrong but I think the brochure you have refers to the Piper Navajo. The Apache was never as large as the Navajo. The Apache was later stretched to carry 6 people and was called the Aztec. Almost a completely different aircraft but never as big as the Navajo.

Edubarca, you are correct. Need to read closer and pay attention.

So I'll put that in as a vote for someone to do a Piper Navajo -- more civil aviation.

Pa-23

It certainly gets confusing with the Apache/Aztec differences when they both are Pa-23 models. Even more, the Apache 23-235 has 5 seats and the extra length and windows but still the shorter nose. Aaron has the Aztec in 1/27 at Murph's - what scale is Gary's Apache? It will make a nice pair, and the possibility to do the range of variants, long and short nose and fuselage and tail changes.

Keep up the great work.

Yes, a Navajo would be a wonderful addition to the line .

Hurray for civil aircraft!!!

No doubt Navajo would be beautiful. What about also a Piper Comanche? Piper's first "modern" design. I was made in three single engine versions: with 180 hp, 250 and later 400 hp versions. There was also a Twin Comanche. But the classic one is the single engine made from 1958 through 1972.

The Aztec available from Ecard models and other sources is not very detailed and it has no formers which makes an accurate building almost impossible.

And don't forget the single engine Cessnas. The 170 or 180 are super classic planes. The photos show the Comanche, the Cessna 180 on floats and the Cessna 170
