Excellent news!!! The Comanche is soooooooooo beautiful. Piper designers were way ahead of their time in 1956 when they decided to design and produce a really modern high performance private plane. It was competing with the Beechcraft Bonanza which was also a very modern and beautiful design and, incidentally, still being made but with no V tail. It has the record of the airplane that has been in continuous production for more than 60 years!!! And also the Ryan Navion which was designed to look similar to the P-51 Mustang. Those were the days!!!!! Thanks Gary, you are giving us card modellers airplanes that have never been available as scale models neither in plastic nor in card. These private planes really deserve a place in modelling.
And enjoy your married life!!!! Best wishes, EDUARDO |

Nearly married life, funny!! Your upcoming marriage is definitely more important at this point. Designing models for those of us that are unable should not be a concern.
Hope everything comes together for your big day. Good luck!!! |

I think it will be as all Gary's private planes: 1/24 scale which is, by the way, the same scale used by Schreiber for their Piper Super Cub and Cessna 150.

LOL!
When I was a kid, my neighbor build one of these in his garage! Yes, the tail stuck out the window and one wing into the kitchen, his wife left him, but he did finish it and then went flying it. Total flashback when I saw your image there. |
