Here's the link I have: 3-wheelers.com home page

Its a Brit site so you may be able to contact them direct.

I did a bit of layering and greebles on the one I build. Someday (whenever that comes) would like to do a more detailed version with interior. Nobody hold their breath waiting, please.

Strange, considering how long and good service both gave to RAF.
Both still on my to do list

Yeah, I have seen that 3-wheeler site before, but it was way back now. There's quite a few hits logged on the Wayback Machine, but many of them show a 302 return on the crawler. Mind you, with over 1,000 pages it will take some exploring. Perhaps an email or PM to Elvis might be called for.

I found it ... dlprmodel1 ... but the DL links don't work. Grrrr. Mind you, it looks pretty familiar, so I guess a search of my archives is called for.

Cute car

I did not understand the idea of 3 wheelers car but this is something that I remember from my childhood and it's always good to remember I like the 250 CC engine idea as well, and for future, are you plan to do the Stingray again? I think that you talk about re-mastering this cute supermarionation submarine

3 wheeled car is a next logical step from motorcycle with side car. It's still light enough to be powered by motorbike engine yet give driver much more comfortable ride.Mind you in day when they were popular traffic was A LOT slower than today and a lot less car were in use (hence much, much narrower roads).

Within their limitations they are awesome idea I think.

Also in most cases it could be registered (and taxed) as a motorcycle which if you're counting pennies can be a major consideration.

Quite a few penniless teenagers learned to drive in these, but the cars were usually at least 15yrs old. At the time my thoughts were "Who on earth would pay the price of a new one of these?" but obviously people did, or there wouldn't have been any fourth/fifth hand ones to buy.

The biggest Adrenalin rush I ever got in my life was driving a Heinkel Kabinroller ten miles up the M1 motorway. 15 minutes of sheer terror. Boy does an 18 wheeler look big in the rear view mirror when it wants to go twice the speed you are capable of.
