Back to the earlier topic. Here's a very amusing video critique of the 1951 Hoffman 3-wheeler. Well worth the 4 minutes of your time to view.

YeeeeHaaaw!!! That thing is so horrible it can only be described as GORGEOUS.

And with rear wheel steering ... outrageous. But I'd love a model of it.

Top Gear did a similiar lamblast of the 3 wheeled RObin a few years ago. Lots of shots of them tipping over. Those Limeys and some of the sh!t they design are a laugh a minute.

I wanted to let Gary know that his models do get built. Here is his Optica downsized to 1/48 scale to match the recent Beaver model from Paper-Replica. The tail surfaces makes this model a little tricky to build. Definitely not a model for the beginner. The only thing I’m not sure of is the forward facing registration numbers on the right wing. It looks a bit odd. But then again, it’s British. Many thanks to Sir Pilsworth for another great design.

I’m waiting for the model of the largest private rocket launched from England, Top Gear’s Robin Reliant Space Shuttle!
