I think factory designation was Westland P.12 Wendover .A bit of history of it:

What's interesting to me are 2 20mm cannons mounted on top of wheel fairings. Judging by example in CWH Hamilton that likely wasn't a good idea since undercarige legs were of single piece I think "elektron" alloy.I doubt those legs did stand much of weight and especially recoil of two cannons.

It was outdated in Sept 1939.I have no idea why they kept on going with it other than "proof of concept" thing.
