Aha! The Chilean flag gave it away - A Herreshoff-built torpedo boat (Alay, Alianza, or República) used during the War of the Pacific.

I hope Gary won't mind if I tell you that this is the Chilean torpedo boat Janequeo 2° famous for her May 25, 1880, nocturnal engagement with the Peruvian armed steam launch Independencia.
Gary, I am forever grateful to you for taking time to design paper models of these forgotten warships.

Thanks for the clarification Kazziga. I should have done more research ;>)
I like these older steam ships and glad that Gary is designing one.

Beautiful models. They remind me of the old Monogram aircraft sets of the 50s- They made a kit with about 18 airforce airplanes of that time. Today, if you find any, it costs a fortune. They also made a kit with several different rockets. The idea on card is very nice. May I suggest you do the same with American bombers like the B-52, B-47, B-57B and perhaps the RB-66. Or what about some WW2 bombers? Fighters? Private aircraft?
