iPads and Papermodelers

I have an iPad (when I can get out of my teenage daughters hands)
I don't know if there are more people around here, but I found out that the Papermodelers site is clearly not made for an iPad, using the touch-screen.
But I discovered this ; the Flipboard -app
IMHO, and a lot of other humble opinions it's brillant
It combines all your social media, like Facebook and twitter into a magazine, but what I found out that if you 'Add a Section' you can tune in to the RSS feature of the forum.
Now all the new post will show up like a magazine, you can look back at least a month.(I didn't try to go further back)
With one tap it opens the complete new posts section, and with one more tap it opens the original page on the forum
And you can read it like a magazine...
I say ; brillant
The app is free; Flipboard for iPad

Damn Billy, you can make anything work for you. I have never had a product from Apple that was worth a damn. The "Data" plans are getting so expensive here that owning the device isn't the problem, it's paying for the "Data package" it up that kills you. I think anyone who i s using this device or similar one will really enjoy this. Great pictures.

I use this web site on my ipad with no great difficulty. But it is just to read forums etc. I use it even on the tiny ipod touch.

He, Lala,I don't have big problems either, the only thing is that when you have to hit the little button just next of the members name to open the post in the thread, I often hit the member's info on the small iPadscreen.
And I don't think an iPad can replace a desktop or laptop completly, but it still is a cool toy
I use it for reading a lot, but when I want to post or show pictures , I always turn to the real computer..
BTW, they say the Flipboard app will come for iPhone too..

My cheapo $99 dollar cell phone reads this site really well actually, I am surprised you need a separate app to do that.

@Goodduck, I never can use Apple products because they are not able to run any kind of production software and I have never seen anyone have success hooking up an Apple computer to a CNC machine. This may have changed though, but if it entails bootcamping W7, then forget it. Also, since I have never purchased a ready made computer, I make my own, that leaves Apple out.
