HOWTO: Start a new thread

So you want to start a new thread, Ok, easy enough.

You will be posting new threads like a pro in no time flat.

1. Click on the Forum button in the top right corner.

Next you will see all the sections and subsections we have in the forum

Select the section you want to post in.
Here I selected the HOWTO: section

At the top of the page you see a button, New Thread

Once you click on that, you will be presented with a new screen, the start of your posting future.

You can preview your post, you can make sure that all the pictures loaded, and all the links loaded fine, then click on Submit post and you will have posted a new thread

This is also the editor when you click on Go Advanced at the bottom of Quick Reply box.

I hope this helps, and if you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask them

Rick

I can't seem to be able to post a new thread. I don't see the 'new thread' button anywhere?

If you follow the steps, the "new thread" button appears on the top left of the listed threads in whatever category you pick.

Where you trying to add a link to some place?
We have some security settings in place, one of them is to post 10 posts, and then you can add outside links to your posts.

Thanks Rick. Found your "tutorial" made posting a new thread an absolute breeze, thus it is much appreciated.

Hmm, I tried to post with some attachments (three images) instead of links to the images and I still have this problem
