Thanks guys. I have many...may be too many, models downloaded now but I am always on the hunt for more. Finding time to make them is another thing...but anyhow, all of my purchased models have been through ecardmodels.com so far, and my free downloads have all been off of links offered by members of this forum or Zealot. I confess an ignorance to both computers and card modeling, but I am working hard to educate my self. I guess I need to take a MSL coarse...modeling as a second language. I think that it is great that some model designers share their art freely with the world, but as a hardcore capitalist, I also think the great people who make these models should get compensation, if for no other reason then as an insentive to make more! Free is good, but an endless selection is even better. Piratecy in any form sucks big time. Thanks for your continued tutoring.

We need a flashing red sign, this is happening a lot. Sometimes I think it's on purpose though.

And be suspicious about models on sites like Rapid-share, most of them are pirated...

Hello to all,

as a publisher of offset-printed models, please let me add some brandnames to the list of Michael. You don't find the attached in a download area:

cfm - Munich
MDK - Berlin
HMV - Hamburg
Schreiber Verlag - Aue
Passat-Verlag

With lovely greetings
the Wilfried

True.

Some free designs are even better than the purchased product, a few even trump plastic/resin models.

Hopefully I'm interpreting this correctly but are you saying that it is possible to legally buy CDs of older Maly Modelarz kits? If that is the case could you please post a location as I would love to legally obtain some of the classic Maly kits, challenges and all....

That was several years ago and I'm not sure if anybody still carries them...
Quick look around in online stores brought no results but I no longer have link to SPI Shop and Maly's page seems to be down as well
They offered kits grouped by year starting with 1957 to somewhere in the '70.
