it is known that if you try to view a pdf file in a web browser, errors tend to happen

that is why it is recommended that you do a save as(or something similar) and then open the file in your pdf reader of choice

Additional question that may be related here....what if you are attempting to download a file and you right click, save as but only a portion of the file actually downloads ? Attempted with 3 different ones no success and hit the limit for the day with non of them obtained .... other downloads out side of the Paper Modelers site do work however, it appears to be just our downloads area. Help please...ideas ???

On a somewhat related subject, I've tried to download a file (Super Star Destroyer) and it comes up with a corrupted file message.

How do we report dead files and corrupted files?

Are you referring to this one? http://www.papermodelers.com/forum/v...downloadid=742

If so, seems to be working OK for me. Do you have a program to open RAR files (winRAR, or 7zip are two good ones)? Try downloading again if you have the right software, could have been corrupted in the transfer.

It's downloading as XXX.rar.zip, not as XXX.rar. Windows tries to open it in explorer and fails. 7-zip opens it fine, thinking it's a .zip, but since 7-zip can open .rar files, things work.
