Thanks for the info on Kiitifix glue sources, Clive. The Fentens Australia site looks great, but not having a Facebook account, I can't get into it. However, I found Kittifix on Amazon, so looks like I can get some of my own.
Would like to try that yellow and black tube UHU, as well. Will look for it. Don |

I find that the white PVA or wood glue OK for edge glueing but do not use on large area's such as tram floors and roofs as it will warp the card due to the moisture content, If you are able to use a backing card on the other side it helps as the pull is more or less even and the floor etc fairly flat.
I also use standard Bostik Clear adhesive. Owen |

For paper to paper, I use a glue called "ADHESIVE TECH". Put a very small drop on a tab, spread it around and remove the excess with a dental tool. It holds firmly within 60 seconds, but you have about 30 seconds to move things around before it starts to grab. In two minutes, it has a solid set and you can glue the next piece to the assembly. You use so little for each joint that I have a half tube left and I have been using it on everything for the past 6 months (a mixture of large and small models). I attached a photo of the the glue tube. Oh, I forgot to mention, It's DIRT CHEAP! Here in Maryland, I bought it at an art shop for $1.99 (their standard everyday price). It works extremely well paper to paper, but not well with mixed materials (i.e. plastic; wood; metal).
For paper to cardboard, I use a paste glue called "YES". I spread it with a scrap piece of cardboard (easy cleanup) on the cardboard and then press the paper on using an old ink roller. (photo of that included also) A bit more expensive ($16 a pint at the same art store). John |

Don, I'm not a fan of facebook at all, however I did open a F/B account solely for the purpose of obtaining KITTIFIX here in Australia. It's worth it.
It seemed silly to pay postage for a couple of bottles of glue so I felt compelled to order two or three new models as well. "Makes it more economical Dear". Its called, accentuating the positives. Works a treat. One HMV and two WoPS kits I "need" have just been released so I'd better order some more glue. See, saving money yet again. Clive.

I've got 2 requirements of glue.....1-easy clean up 2-no fumes because I've got 2 birds.
Every once and a while I use different glues but I keep going back to aleene's tacky glue. |
