Is it possible to add images in a private message ?

I wished to send a private message to a member to get a piece of advice about a specific part of a model. To make clearer my question I had prepared an image with an arrow pointing at the problem. Unfortunately it seems that one cannot add images in a private message. Is it impossible (forbidden) or is it me who does not know how to proceed?
Thanks in advance.

Send a message via Yahoo to rickstef Send a message via Skype™ to rickstef
at this time, what you ask, is not possible

however, you can send a link of the image to the person you are writing the private message to.

i do not know if a newer version of the forum os supports this or not, i will try to find out.

Rick

Dear Friends:
The other option is to exchange Emails and just put the pictures over that way. Though I like the PM style of staying with in the forum.

Miles is correct. An even easier way is to share a Google Drive Folder - then you pop in the pics, send a PM, discuss, and the other person can annotate the pics in the folder if they want.

I have several shared folders with papermodelers.com friends.

Finally I have followed your suggestion and sent my question (to Yoav, about a detail on his SM B-2 - see my other thread on this model) through the "regular way".

Have a nice W-E
