1/200 Italian Corvette RN Ape Instructions?
Greetings mates! Hope you are all well during this difficult time. Some while ago I downloaded the WW2 italian Corvette RN Ape by F. Prudenziati. The prints turned out great but there doesn't seem to be any construction notes or drawings and the creator's website no longer exists. If anyone can help out, i'd be much obliged. Thanks and stay well!

There is no instruction
Hello Twointhebush,
i'm sorry, but there is no instruction for the APE Corvette. At least there is only an instruction for the ZARA, but all other are without an instruction. I think that is the reason for the fact, that there a only a few models built out of Zio's Models. Though i think with some experience they can be built. There are some photos of completed models out in the web, just have a look. Tom |

Zio Prudenzio never draws instruction for his model. However, you can find a step by step construction of the RN Ape in this Italian forum. All in Italian, sorry!

Thanks everyone for your speedy replies. The pictures in the Italian forum are going to be a big help and, as far as the language barrier, google translator to the rescue! I should now be able to get started on this great looking ship. Again, that you to all and happy modeling!

Thank you a thousand times for the link to the APE build. I had always wanted to try on of Mr Prudenzio's ships but was discouraged by the lack of instructions. Now that I have photos of an advanced build, I might give the APE a try (after I have finished building the paper models from Japan that I have collected .) |
