FWIW, no issues on a Mac with either Chrome or Safari.

Have not tried Firefox

You might have something there, VK. I do use Firefox.

With Firefox, I went for months not being able to upload images with PostImage, so I switched to Chrome for several forums that use PostImage. I stuck with Firefox for the most part.

Now Firefox and PostImage play well together, but Firefox has new issues with a couple sites I use for work. That's why I wonder if Firefox might be doing something that is a 'security feature' preventing one from staying logged in.

I don't know Edge very well, so I just can suggest you to check if you have options that sound like "clear cookies at the end of the session".
Using Firefox and checking the "Remember me" flag, it maintains the session logged, even though I quit Firefox and then rerun it.

By the way, I have a message to the administrators: vBulletin 3.x reached end-of-life at the end of 2017, there still are some patches, 3.8.8 (this one), 3.8.9, and 3.8.10 (beta); there are no more new developments and I don't know for how long security fixes. Is it feasible to think about a major upgrade?

Yes in Chrome browser in Windows 10 on the PC.
No in Chrome browser in Windows 10 on the laptop.

I've not a clue what is making the difference.

I was having the same issue, but I think that checking the remember me box might be a good fix. It sounds reasonable.

There might also a cookie issue, if you have the browser set to delete all cookies when you close the browser, that might prompt you to log in the next time you open the browser and come to the forum.

Upgrading the forum OS and related pieces is a question best left for Jason.

This is a notice I get sometimes:
Quote:
Invalid Redirect URL (Paper Modelers)
It shows up whether I let the browser automatically redirect or if I manually redirect to the forum.

When that notice shows up I get kicked from the site even when the "Remember Me" box is checked.

Using the latest update of Chrome.

Just now got that, "Invalid Redirect URL" while logging in on PC after entering ID and password.
Clicked at top of that page to go to forum home and once there it showed me as logged in.
