Getting bumped off
For the past few days I've had to log in repeatedly, and was wondering if anyone else is experiencing this. I'll visit the forum for a bit, open a new tab and browse around somewhere else for 15 minutes or so and then come back to the forum tab. When I refresh the tab so see if there are any new posts, I find I've been bumped and have to log in again. I used to stay logged in all day. Now I have to enter my username and password 10 or 15 times a day. It's a small thing, but beginning to get annoying.

Have you accidentally unchecked the remember me box in the top right under your name and password?

You might be right, Rick. I logged out, and logged back in making sure to check the remember me box. So far so good.

I too have experienced this behavior. Until this thread, I never set the "Remember me" login option, while always having the form session active, even after suspend to memory the computer session.
Right now I logged out and then in with the check option set, so I'm going to test if something change. Thank you for the hint.

After reading this, I noticed that the Remember Me box somehow got unchecked. I am not sure why it unchecks itself every so often. But checking it on sign-in keeps it going much longer.
Now I just have to figure out why it unchecks itself

I checked "remember me", years ago when I first joined the forum, and it remembered me for years. Now I have to check 'remember me' at the beginning of each session or I get forgotten pretty quickly. Ah well, we're all getting older.

I wonder if it is a browser issue. I had been using Firefox for years. When this started, I read the Remember Me comment and realized it was unchecked. I check it when I log on and still it unchecks for unknown reasons.
Then I started using Chrome and I haven't had a problem, yet
