Herky. It could be the photo size - if it is too large it will not load at the attachment stage.

For those who post pictures using the first method I described, and are having their pictures lay over in landscape mode instead of portrait mode. This is what I have done to prevent this from happening.

If you are using a digital camera, or even your cell phone or tablet to take pictures and posting them to the forum, do the following, Drop the resolution, for each device, this is a different method, so I am going to leave you to figure that out on your device.

More than likely the default setting for your camera is set to its highest, or second highest resolution. This pixel count is what is causing your rotation.
Drop the resolution down to around 4-5 MP(Mega Pixels) then any photo you take in Portrait will be shown in the correct orientation here on the forum.

Also, we humans see things in Landscape naturually, so while Portrait is a great orientation, it isn't really natural. Keep this in mind when you take photographs of your next model, Landscape, hold it closer(also keeps the bit count down), and if you have a tripod or monopod use that to steady the shot, and if you are using your cell or tablet, clean the lens of the camera(it makes a difference)

Rick
