Have you considered using glossy photo paper?
Not the best to work with but it is manageable.
I know around here you can pick up a pack of 10 8 1/2 x 11 sheets at the Dollar store for... well...around... a Buck!
Good Luck

Dear WC:
Did you try Walmart or Kmart? they should be in your area? Most of the time I find 110# Card stock there sometimes only 67# sometimes it is labeled Cover Stock.
Good luck,
MILES
Office supply stores like Office max have it costs more however

yeah but he wants "glossy" cardstock...is that the same?

...
I want to know more about this paper.
gloss on both sides?
good for inkjet? laser? both? none?
glue sticks to it okay?
folds without angled creases?
curves without creases?
saves Witches from drowning?

In California I'd suggest xpedx. Here's their website:

https://www.xpedx.com/default.aspx

The nearest one to you unfortunately is in fresno, but if you ever go there, it's a paper modeler's dream. Every kind of card stock you can imagine, in any kind of finish, size and weight. I still have stacks of 135lb bristol I bought there years ago. I'm pretty sure they ship ASAP as well.

Stop by or call a local print shop. They may have something just laying around that would do the trick.
