Profile Picture

I am trying to upload a profile picture from my picture file. It shows up as my profile picture but when I upload it I get a message that upload failed? Tried on two separate computers with same results.

picture is too large in pixels or data size?

Just some things to check,
1) Is it the proper format?
2) Is it the proper image size (l x w)
3) Is it the proper image size (mb)

I tried to upload a profile pic and got the same message (upload failed). The pic is a 100 x 100 px and 25.43 kb jpg and does show up on the "edit profile picture" page.

My test image uploaded fine, and shows up fine. Bill, I checked your profile, and your picture appears to have uploaded okay.

Are you trying to get the picture that displays here with your post or the picture that is viewed on your profile page? If your trying to get the picture that displays with your posts you need to change your "avatar" that's in the block below "your profile" and in "setting and options".

Me too, thanks Mechanic, its simple when one knows what he is doing, but in my case I think a little knowledge is dangerous.
