Gossamer Albatross, working prop and canard

I am attempting to upload my modified FG Gossamer Albatross with a balsa wood former inside the fuselage, to which is attached a brass tube and brass rod prop shaft so the prop can spin freely. The boom is also brass rod and the canard is free moving. Rigging is done to the original Gossamer Albatross plans, not the FG plans, which are close but not quite correct. Also added the proper dihedral to the wing.

O.k., looks like things are sorted out now, so here are a couple photos:

And a short video showing the moving prop and canard:

If the YouTube link above doesn't work, try pasting it into your browser - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SonRdyVbNYw

I plan to make one with an 8 foot wingspan that will actually fly by RC. The 8 foot version will have clear film on the canopy and the pilot will have moving legs to crank the bike - that should turn a few heads!

Altbob, for future Youtube links, you only need the part after "v="

Nice build too!

Thanks guys, I'll update with the RC build when it's done, although I don't plan to start on that until after New Year's at the earliest because I am in the process of building a house and moving. Thanks for the tip on the Youtube thing - it's too late to edit the post apparently - there must be a time limit on that sort of thing (?), but the alternative link I put in the post is active so you can at least click on it to see the propeller spinning
