Smile Fokker Retake

Hello friends!

After a hiatus I retake my Fokker DVII marathon

At this time i'm show the build process of control cables, is a most sensible build step in 1/100 scale.

For rigging I use a cyrurgical steel wire, is very fine item, because make a rigid segment o cable...

Fuselage is drilled in apropriate place to receive this cables...

I made from card board the pushrods, and glue the wire with ciano glue...

Pics:

After a tedious work, I made the wheels, I laminating this pieces with heavy cardboard, after I glue in undercarriage axle with ciano glue, and after dry I glue the whell canvas protector in all whells.

That's all at this moment, after I make a machine guns, and superior Wings.

Cheers my friends!

Excellent little group you are building, I think this is a nice little model design also, and your group is beautiful. Do you have a plan for displaying them?

Very nice set of aircraft. They looked large until you put the pin drill and lego brick in the picture. Wow these are small. your doing a nice job on these.

Smile Thank's

Thank's for comments my friends! In this update I build Spandaus machine guns, main "N" struts and superior wings. Besides is a old FG model (1987) the fit is very good, but the glue of central struts and wings need a carefull exta work.

Pics:

In 1/100 is a very small pieces...

Pics of build "N" struts:

I laminated the pieces, and painted with acrylic the white back side and edges, the lamination is made with 240g filecoat paper and add strenght to pieces...

Pics of superior wings build...

For glue the wings in right place I use the Windsock Datafile and Fokker D VII in action, is a good information source, the indicatives for glue struts in the wings is incorrect. The D VII is a biplan school for beginner modelers, the alignment is easy...

Almost finished, the next steps is a central cabane struts and propellers...

Cheers my friends!!!
