FGMM SeaFire
I just might have time to sneak this one in. It's the SeaFire from the FG Spitfire collection.
I had this printed at 1/40 in greyscale then colored the whole thing with colored pencil. Has a really cool effect on the color. It'll have a clear canopy and some other 'extras'.

Thanks. I am actually really amazed at how well it came out. Even when the darker areas are colored, the light picks it up really.
Here's where I am right now. I decided to make new landing gear and not use the stock fold-n-glue ones. I used some of the stock parts though like the wheels which are just skins on built-up card disks. Struts are dum-dum sticks with paper strips added. Same idea for the tail wheel. Hope to start on the nose pieces later if time permits.

A little more progress tonight. I started with the canopy.
Next was the fuselage. I started by cutting off all the tabs and making join strips. Next, I added some 'glass' to the back window which was a royal pain but turned out ok I think. This is an older hand-drawn model and has a few fit issues here and there but with a bit of fidgiting, it ends up looking ok. Next - Those darned wings!:D

I did a Seafire once. Yours is way better. The coloring is a great idea, and I love how you handled the landing gear.

This build has officially been stopped. It appears that this kit, as with many of the older FG kits has a few issues being hand-drawn. I ran into an issue with the wings not matching up properly and matching them up properly caused a massive warp on one side. Well, in my attempt to re-open the glued seam, my fresh #11 blade sliced right through the beggining of the seam and down through the bottom wing surface which tore out my newly installed gear bay cauding an even bigger hole. I binned the whole kit. I have a few new Marek kits that I need to dig into anyway.
