Preview of a new kit-B-50 series (KB-50, RB-50, B-50D)

A little hint-without the engines it's next to impossible to identify correctly... ;D

:D Yes, actually this particular model will be the KB-50 aerial refueling version with a pair of jet engines fitted. Scale will be 1/72. 8)

Here's the KB-50 with engine pods complete and stabilizer fitted. Next up is the tail fins before final detailing and unfolding. 1/72 B377s will be coming too, along with one or two in 1/32.

Let me know what you think 8)

Re: Preview of a new kit-B-50 series (KB-50, RB-50, B-50D)

The model looks interesting, nevertheless one question arises: Will there be a difference in detailing for the different scales? Basic details for 1/72 will come rather coarse in 1/32. I'm talking mainly about engines, cockpit details, perhaps deployable ailerons etc.

Cheers, Old Rutz

Yes, there will be two separate models developed for the two scales. The 1/32 will have more detail including a cockpit. 8)
