Like many other, I am very impressed, almost dumbstruck. You will get tired of hearing that, but it really is more than inspiring to see how well you accomplish all this, in such a minute scale.
What I would really like to see, as an inspiration for others, is a very detailed description of some stage of the work you, yourself, feel deserved to be documented. What I'm getting at is the kind of description where you see your fingers and tools in the photo, doing what you describe in words. Your finished results are very beautiful, but this kind of account would be even more astounding. Just think about what a finger or a tool in the photo would accomplish in terms of "Oh my God..." reactions... I assume you are already using a tripod. Add the self-exposure setting of your camera, and you are free to get into the photo yourself. Leif |

Jacek, this is stunning! I'm especially interested in your leather seat cushion - could
you explain the process in creating this portion? Also, I do love a good 1/72 model, but do you think you could arrange the parts layout for a possible 1/48 version - for us (myself included) incapable of small scale building? |

Thanks All!
Orange propably will be only 1/72 version. Lots of parts are depends of paper thickness and like I wrote, I'm lazy 1/48 required to redesign lots of elements to properly fitting. But 1/72 will has two ways of build, like Jean: simpler and detailed model like on photos. Leather: on seatings I use acrillic glossy paint (for artist), first darker layer another light with almost dry brush. Buttons are pressed by discharged pen. And I cut it by small scissors, that give quite crushed edges, more like pillow. Backrest is from electric plastic cabel from old RC car I forgot about rear gunner's seatbelts... It wasn't easy to add seatbelts in this stage but succeeded in I add pocket for MG rounds behind of gunner seat too. Regards! |
